Free Face Swap

Face Swap moves a face from one photo onto another, or exchanges two faces in a group photo, entirely in your browser. It finds 478 face landmarks, warps the face to the new shape, matches skin color and lighting and blends the edges seamlessly. Exports keep full resolution and are marked as edited images.

Quick answers

Does this face swap use AI?

It uses a small on-device model only to find faces and their landmarks. The swap itself is classic image processing: the face is warped to the other face's shape, color-matched and blended, with no generative model inventing pixels.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Faces are found and swapped in your browser, and your photos never leave your device.

How to use the Face Swap

  1. Choose Two photos (a face from one photo onto another) or One group photo (exchange two faces).
  2. Drop the photos: faces are found automatically; pick the face to use and the face to replace.
  3. Tick the consent box and press Swap faces, then compare before and after with the slider.
  4. Fine-tune blend strength, edge softness, mask size, color and lighting match, or keep the original eyes and mouth.
  5. Download the result as JPG or PNG at full size, marked as an edited image.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I have to tick a consent box?

Face swaps of real people can hurt them if used without permission. Only use photos you have the right to use and with the agreement of the people pictured; making fake sexual, defamatory or deceptive images is illegal in many countries.

Is the result marked as edited?

Yes. The downloaded file carries XMP metadata saying it is an edited composite made by a face swap (IPTC digital source type 'composite'), and a small 'Edited' label can be added to the image itself.

How do I get a natural result?

Use photos where both faces look in a similar direction with similar light. Raise Edge softness if you see an edge, lower Mask size if hair or background comes along, and try Mirror the source face when the two faces look in opposite directions.

Can I swap faces in a video?

No. The tool works on photos only.
