Quick answers
What happens after I reach 2048?
You can keep going to build 4096, 8192 and beyond, or start a new game. The game ends when the board is full and no merge is possible.
How does the daily challenge work?
Everyone gets the same starting board and the same sequence of new tiles each day, so scores are comparable. Undo is disabled and you can copy a short result to share.

- Use the arrow keys or WASD, or swipe on a touch screen, to slide all tiles.
- Two tiles with the same number merge into one: keep combining to reach 2048.
- Undo a move with the Undo button, U or Ctrl+Z; pick a board size from 3×3 to 6×6.
- Try the daily challenge and copy your result to compare with friends.

Frequently asked questions
Is my game saved?
Yes, your current game and best scores are stored in this browser, so you can close the tab and continue later.
Any tips for a high score?
Keep your biggest tile in one corner, build a descending row next to it, and avoid moving in the direction that pulls it out of the corner.
