Quick answers
Are my models uploaded?
No. Files are read and rendered by your browser with WebGL; nothing is sent to a server.
Which formats can I open?
GLB and glTF (including Draco compression), STL, OBJ with MTL and textures, FBX, 3MF, PLY meshes and point clouds, and CAD files in STEP, IGES or BREP format.
Processed on your device: your files are never uploaded. How it works

How to use the 3D Model Viewer
- Drop a 3D file on the viewer, or click to choose one. For glTF and OBJ, select the .bin, .mtl and texture files too.
- Drag to rotate, right-drag or use two fingers to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom; press Fit to frame the model again.
- Switch render mode, lighting, background, grid and Y/Z up axis; play animations if the model has any.
- Read size, triangles and materials in Model info, measure between two points, and save a PNG screenshot.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my OBJ or glTF look grey or miss textures?
Those formats keep materials and textures in separate files. Select or drop the .mtl, .bin and image files together with the model so the viewer can find them by name.
In which units are the dimensions shown?
Most formats store plain numbers, so choose what one unit means (STL and STEP are usually millimetres, glTF metres, FBX centimetres) and the unit to display: mm, cm, m or inches.
Can I open STEP files from SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or FreeCAD?
Yes. Export STEP (AP203/AP214/AP242) or IGES and open it here. The CAD engine is downloaded the first time (about 8 MB) and then the model is tessellated on your device.
