Free Invoice Scanner
Invoice Scanner reads invoices and receipts, PDFs or photos, in your browser and extracts the vendor, buyer, VAT and tax IDs, invoice number, dates, totals, tax per rate, IBAN and line items. It checks that the totals add up and that VAT numbers and IBANs have valid check digits, then exports everything to Excel, CSV or JSON.

Quick answers
Are my invoices uploaded anywhere?
No. PDFs and photos are read entirely in your browser, including the OCR, and no AI service is involved, so supplier data, bank details and amounts never leave your device.
Which fields does it extract?
Vendor and buyer with addresses and VAT/tax IDs, invoice number, invoice and due date, PO number, payment terms, currency, subtotal, tax per rate, total, amount due, IBAN and BIC, plus the line items (description, quantity, unit price, VAT rate, amount).
Processed on your device: your files are never uploaded. How it works

How to use the Invoice Scanner
- Drop one or more invoices or receipts: PDFs (with text or scanned) or photos. Choose the OCR languages first if you have scans or photos.
- Check each invoice: the dot next to every field shows how sure the extraction is, and clicking a field highlights where it was found on the page. Fix anything that's wrong; the checks update as you type.
- Review the line items and the consistency checks (totals, VAT, line sums, check digits), then export all invoices to Excel, CSV or JSON.

Frequently asked questions
How reliable is it?
PDFs created by accounting software are read exactly; the totals check tells you when something doesn't add up. Scans and photos depend on the OCR quality, so review the fields with a yellow or red dot. VAT numbers and IBANs are verified with their check digits.
Which languages and formats are supported?
Labels in English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese; amounts in any common format (1,234.56 or 1.234,56) and dates in numeric or written form. OCR covers 19 languages.
Can I process many invoices at once?
Yes. Drop as many files as you like: they are read one after another, each gets its own row, and the Excel export puts all invoices on one sheet and all line items on another.
