How is the exact age calculated?
The calculator counts the whole months from your birth date to the chosen date, splits them into years and months, then counts the days left over. This matches how ages are counted on calendars.
What if I was born on February 29?
In years without a February 29, the birthday is counted on February 28. In leap years it is February 29.

Frequently asked questions
Does “days between dates” include the last day?
Not by default: from Monday to Friday is 4 days. Turn on “Include the end date” to count both ends (5 days), which is useful for trips or holidays.
What happens when I add a month to January 31?
February has no 31st, so the result is moved to the last day of February (28 or 29).
