Free Online Timer
Online Timer runs one or more labeled countdown timers with quick presets from 1 to 60 minutes, an alarm that rings until you stop it and optional browser notifications. Timers follow the clock rather than counting ticks, so they stay accurate in background tabs and survive a reload. A second mode counts down to a date.

Quick answers
Does the timer keep running in another tab?
Yes. Timers are based on the clock, not on counting ticks, so they stay accurate even when the tab is in the background. Keep the tab open so the alarm can ring.

How to use the Online Timer
- Click a quick-start time or set hours, minutes and seconds, then start the timer.
- Run several timers at once, each with its own label; pause, reset or add a minute at any time.
- When a timer ends the alarm rings until you stop it, and you get a notification if you allowed them.
- Use “Countdown to a date” to count the days, hours, minutes and seconds to an event.

Frequently asked questions
Why don't I hear the alarm?
Check the volume and that the tab is not muted. Browsers only allow sound after you interact with the page, which happens when you start a timer.
Will my timers survive a page reload?
Yes, running and paused timers are saved in your browser and continue where they were.
