Free GPA Calculator
GPA Calculator computes unweighted and weighted GPA on the US 4.0 scale by multiplying each grade's points by its credits and dividing by total credits. Honors courses add 0.5 and AP or IB courses add 1.0 on passing grades, and an optional prior GPA gives a cumulative result. A+ can count as 4.0 or 4.3.

Quick answers
What is the difference between weighted and unweighted GPA?
Unweighted GPA uses the 4.0 scale for every course. Weighted GPA gives extra points for harder classes: here +0.5 for Honors and +1.0 for AP or IB, so it can go above 4.0.
