Is my PDF uploaded to be displayed?
No. The file is opened and drawn by PDF.js, Mozilla's open-source PDF engine, right in your browser. It never leaves your device.
Does it remember where I stopped reading?
Yes. The last page you viewed is saved in your browser for each file (by name and size) and the reader goes back to it next time you open the same file.

Frequently asked questions
How do I copy all the text?
Open the Text tab in the sidebar and click Extract all text, then copy it or download it as a .txt file. Scanned PDFs contain only pictures: use the OCR tool to get their text.
What does dark mode do?
It inverts the colors of the pages for comfortable reading at night. Photos are inverted too; turn it off to see the original colors.
How does presentation mode work?
It shows one page at a time in full screen. Use the arrow keys, Space or a click to move, and Esc to leave.
